From school band at age 10 to the Ohio Theatre Symphony, from solo busking on Daytona Beach to Nashville studio sessions, and from punk rock basements to the OSU Shoe – Steve Dodge has played it all. He’s performed live everywhere from biker clubhouses and university recital halls to street parades and TV studios.
Over decades of performing, Steve has shared the stage with Grammy winners and Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, including Ric Ocasek (The Cars), Jay DeMarcus (Rascal Flatts), John Lee Hooker, The Moody Blues, Brook Benton, and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
With a B.M. and M.M. in percussion performance from The Ohio State University and over 20 years as university faculty, Steve has taught thousands of students, sharing his decades of experience and helping musicians of all levels reach their potential.
Steve offers private lessons in Columbus, OH and online, plus high-energy live performances as a one-man band or with the full Dodge Band, bringing authenticity, energy, and skill to every note.
